[Janome] Snake's eye is a name given from the shape of a snake's eye, but its original shape is a string scroll in which samurai prepare strings to be stretched when fighting. After wearing an armor, it is worn on the left waist as if it were hung on the waist cord of an ebira (quiver). (Written by TAKASAWA and others, "Kamon no Jiten")/Genmaki is a leather or wicker bow with a crane, a ring worn by warriors wearing armor at their waist, and a look like a snake.
