About this design
When one has studied a language for a long, looong time, it's natural that word-play skills in that language start to develop. Or so it seems -- we're convinced that your brain just gets wacky. And, when that language is Irish, we've noticed that the wackiness tends to run towards the puckish....
So, this. Pro-vegetarianism rhetoric? Probably not. A visual ode to the awkwardness of reaching for one word and grabbing exactly the wrong one? Maybe...all we know is the rumour that artist Wes Koster scanned a REAL PIG to get just the right colour for the background. Or was it a pack of hot dogs? We don't know -- he won't let us into his home. Is it because we use phrases like "visual ode"?...
