A lovely piece of vintage art using pencil, pen and brown ink and watercolor on laid paper. It was painted in 1786 by Francis Town and is titled Ambleside. People view the beauty of the mountains from the village near the church. A group of tall trees are a stand out and draw your eyes back to the village after looking at the mountain range.
