Scarlet Inner Voice Case-Mate iPhone Case

This emotionally charged portrait uses Expressionism and Contemporary Figurative painting to create an image that feels intimate, vulnerable, and psychologically intense. A figure tilts their head backward with eyes closed, exposing the face and elongated neck against a heavily textured burnt-orange and rust background. Thick directional brushstrokes cover the entire surface, giving the work a tactile oil-painted character. Warm beige, olive-tan, muted peach, and brown model the face, while loose black hair spreads outward in irregular strands. The figure’s clothing is rendered almost entirely in charcoal black, interrupted by a powerful vertical streak of crimson red descending from the throat through the torso. That vivid red mark becomes the emotional focal point, suggesting an internal force, wound, voice, or release without defining a literal narrative.
