Krista runs for reassurance and points out a bully to a jungle school caretaker. "The orangutan boy who was rude is over there, teacher," reports Krista during an afternoon in the rain forest.
When orangutans are not orphans, they would normally live with their mothers for 7 or 8 years, even if there are new babies. Krista is one of 350 orphans at the OFI care centre, and she donates all of her profits to help feed and provide medical care for all of her orangutan friends - - even the occasional bully.
