Some people want to euthanize these wild herds by shooting them or selling them to slaughter and devote the public lands to cattle. Those who care, need to encourage their Congressional representatives to provide the funds for humane fertility control and adoption, and to allow the majority of these horses to live free on public lands for the enjoyment of future generations.
