Save The Nukes T-Shirt

Nuclear power is essential if we are to avoid the worst effects of climate change caused by global warming. Existing nuclear power plants provide reliable baseload electricity that complements the variable power output of wind and solar. These nuclear plants do not generate greenhouse gasses that are inherent in fossil fuel generators. Rather than shut down nuclear plants with productive years or decades ahead of them, it makes more sense to subsidize these nukes and shut down coal, oil and gas generating plants first to protect the environment.
