Save Our Seabirds Mug by RoseWrites

After researching the Zika virus extensively and publishing "Birds as Reservoir Hosts of Zika: What You Are Not Being Told" on InfoBarrel (under my pen name, RoseWrites), I decided to create a few products to match the handy tote bag I designed (in support of Zika research and/or tern conservation efforts). A lot of birders I know enjoy a coffee, tea, or hot chocolate before and after their day out on the trail. So I created this mug with a gorgeous photo by Dan Clark of a white tern chick (aka fairy tern, angel tern, or white noddy). You can choose from 7 styles of mug and different sizes (including a travel mug or beer stein). When I learned that Arctic tern chicks have been dying en masse since about 2013, my immediate thought was that Wolbachia-infected Aedes mosquito releases (carried out in Brazil and other places) are at the root of this. By selling this mug, I hope special interest groups, birders, and wildlife lovers can help scientists discover why our seabird chicks are dying in such huge numbers and find a way to help them recover. P.S. I will donate 50 percent of my royalties from every sale of this mug in support of Zika research and/or tern conservation efforts.
