Wildlife notecard from the rainforest of Borneo, Kalimantan, Indonesia. Borneo is the third largest island on planet Earth, features a gorgeous young orangutan enjoying the vines and trees in bright sunshine. Orangutans are an endangered species. Unlike chimpanzees, orangutans are quite quiet and peaceful, and they are mostly vegetarians with a diet of fruit and local greenery... and an occasional handful of termites. The artist is a volunteer in this location and uses 100% of her profits from the sale of this card to support wildlife rescue and rehabilitation work of these gentle red haired great apes.
