Santa Barbara Mission, California Jigsaw Puzzle

This is the front view of the Santa Barbara Mission Church in Santa Barbara, California as it stands on March 4, 2012. The mission was established on the Feast of St. Barbara, Dec 4, 1786. The three original churches were built successively in adobe. The third of these was damaged in an earthquake in, and this church was built in 1820. Another earthquake in 1925 damaged this mission church. Restoration work was completed in 1927 and the towers were reinforced in 1953. We can hope it will suffer no damage from future earthquakes.
