Sandia Mountain and Crest as seen from the North West looking across the Rio Grande River. The image was inspired from a view I saw while driving south east on highway 550. The Sandia north slope is shown in shadow with the south west face is seen behind the Rincon ridge line. The Rio Grande river is in deep shadow in the lower foreground. The yellow flowers seen in the near foreground are Chamisa brush. I really loved the shadows and the depth of view from this angle with the sun low on the western horizon to my back.
