Vintage 1940s image of the China Clipper in flight over San Francisco, California. The image shows a Martin M-130 airplane used by Pan American Airways to transport airmail and passengers across the Pacific Ocean. The China Clipper was lost to a crash in 1945 in Trinidad killing 16 passengers and 9 crew members.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
