The landmarks and icons of the City of Salford, in Greater Manchester, England, featuring a stylized cartoon character versions of its exports and cityscape, including (from left to right) an Eccles Cake, The Lowry holding up a coal barge, a University of Salford building at Salford Quays, 100 Greengate holding maracas in the style of the Happy Mondays, a Metrolink tram destined for MediaCityUK holding up TV cameras, and, finally, one of the Pendleton tower blocks. Salford is spelled out in traditional red brick and sandstone, with cotton flower embellishment.
