Saint Damien was a Belgian priest who spent his priestly life ministering to the lepers (Hansen's Disease) in Moloka'i, Hawaii. While ministering there, Damien himself became sick of Hansen's Disease and died at the age of 49. This mug is a wonderful gift for a devotee of Saint Damien.
