What is more lonely than a sad frog on a moon...? Sometimes you feel so lonely because you miss someone, or you have hurt someone’s feelings but just don’t know how to start mending fences... This whimsical fun watercolor original by Susi was inspired by a real life apology she thought would be easier given in a painting form than spoken words...and it worked. The background colours are subdued shades of blue among twinkling stars, and the sad crying frog who is wearing bright red shorts, is given a tissue to wipe away his tears from a compassionate light blue moon. This drawing is one of sadness, remorse, but yet full of compassion, empathy and hope for a brighter future and happy mending of a temporary broken relationship.
