The background for this invitation is a wonderful, rustic country chic style farmhouse shiplap wood that is hand painted and has wonderful texture and age. This invitation set begins with hand painted wreath of blush pink , soft white and light peach roses paired with baby's breath and pussy willow by Audrey Jeanne Roberts. They are a mixture of wild roses, herbs, twigs and leaf foliage with roses in various shades. A soft, faded, distressed wooden board background is a rustic counterpart to the elegant, sophisticated floral and the simple and modern style of the typography text layout. I found this size a bit small for what I was looking for (wedding invitation) going to order the size up for the rest of the invitations. I originally ordered 12.7 cm x 17.8 cm.
