The ball or mason style canning jar was hand painted in watercolor by Audrey Jeanne Roberts as were the white paper poppies (California Matilijah Poppies), red poppy and mustard yellow gold round ball shaped Billy Button flowers that are loosely arranged in the vase. The background is a hand painted crackle finish that is both rustic and yet elegant with subtle swirl flourish motif patterns in it. This design is available in a wide assortment of flower styles and colours. Best feature is how customizable it is. We were able to incorporate our own graphics to best represent our wedding theme and colours. The card's sale price is good (less than $1.10 CAD each) and we got both sides printed. The quality of the paper surpasses our expectations; we are very happy with the thickness, texture and matte finish which makes it appear more professional than the standard thinner glossy postcard style that is so often used for wedding invitations these days. The print quality is good. The only thing we are not impressed by is with how dark the professional photographer's pictures printed. It is possible this is due to the original pictures and not necessarily the printing process, but they did print darker than anticipated.
