The full title of this work is "Rounding a Bend" on the Mississippi – The Parting. This item presents a dynamic design. It's a wonderful feast for the eyes. It's full of variety of beautiful dark blue hues, contrasting with pretty, light colours. It's an exciting night on the water. Something special seems to be going on, as fireworks have been set off from one of the riverboats. This work, from 1866, was created by Frances Flora Bond Palmer. Although she was born in England, multiple sources list her as "American, British born" and her art as American art. Also, she created this art and other pieces while working for the American company, Currier & Ives. Buy as is or add text. Public domain work. Enhanced. Sharon Lee Hudson.

I ordered these with interiors of yellow, red, maroon, pink, navy blue, and light blue. Note that the navy blue is VERY dark and looks black in some lighting. The mugs have survived 10 months of use so far! My friends were all very happy with them. Print turned out very clear. Colours were accurate. Thank you!
