Roses Greeting RSVP Card

Sigh. I started these roses two or three years ago. I get in non-creative funks and then I go on creative binges. There's a diagnosis for that, hehe. I was feeling uplifted after participating in my first Arts Walk in Stevens Point. I sold a lot more art than I anticipated. I was finishing up my first commissioned piece EVER (see the dandelion products lol) and stumbled across these roses-- or at least, the pencil sketch of them. I wanted a reason to procrastinate on a different project, so I filled up the ol' watercolor jar and started brushin'. Something about the way the orange roses pop off the blue sky... I can't get enough of it. I've probably done four orange rose pieces so far. Full disclosure: I will probably keep churning out orange roses because, well, yolo dawg.
