Rokumon-sen Watch

The Rokumon-sen crest. Rokumon-sen is a colloquial name; the actual name is Roku-ren-sen (Six Connected Coins). When a person dies, their destination is determined by their deeds in life and sorted into one of the six realms: Hell, Hungry Ghosts, Animals, Ashura, Humans, or Heaven. According to Buddhist teachings, there is a Jizo Bodhisattva in each realm who receives offerings. The coins are for the deceased to use in the afterlife, and all other expenses are taken care of on the other side. The 'Six Connected Coins' crest is a reflection of this Buddhist concept. (from 'The Family Crests of Daimyo Families' by Kenichi Takahashi) It is famously associated with Sanada Yukimura.
