This is from a impressionist painting I did with alcohol inks. It’s Rivington Pike above the moors on the edge of the Pennines near winter hill. The beacon is visible from miles around. And it’s a local tradition to walk to the top of the pike and touch the tower on all four sides, for luck, on good Friday.
