My Lemur Friends - animal potrait painting by Adrienn Ecsedi, 2015
Ring-tailed lemurs are one of the endangered species of Madagascar. This is a painting to show how close they can be to us if you have some food that is. Their name is derived from the Latin word lemures, which means “spirits of the night”. They eat flowers, fruits, tree leaves, grass and sometimes even insects. Lemur catta can live up to 18 years. They are endangered because of habitat loss. Every time I am in the zoo I visit the Ring-tailed lemurs. They are usually sleeping on a tree branch closely behind each other or waiting for food.

I have ordered the grade A cotton version of this throw pillow. The material was a bit rough to the touch at first and had some wrinkles on it but it keeps its shape well. I have ironed the pillow case (I've used the warmest setting - it worked well) and now it looks really great and feels softer too! I like the hidden zipper and the shape and size of the pillow. It was a bit difficult to take out the insert from the pillow case at first, but if you squeeze it well it is easier to handle. The pillow looks durable! The print is very nice! The blue of the sky has turned lighter, almost to a greyish white and the leaves on the top right blends into the sky. It is all right though! The girl and the lemur looks beautiful! It gives back the mood of the painting well. I really like it!!

Love the fabric and the vibrant colours. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the pillows were slightly smaller than 41 x 41 cm. I was disappointed with that. The printing turned out excellent!
