This Retro Tropical Cocktail Party Stretched Canvas Print is intoxicating in its detail. The cartoon design features the type of wildly sophisticated cocktail party that is normally only seen in movies from the 1960s. There is a mid century modern living room filled with partygoers enjoying the swanky, purple decor. A lovely woman in a French maid's uniform is carrying a tray of martinis. She is standing beside a red, cone fireplace with a roaring fire. In the centre of the room, an attractive couple is lounging in orange egg chairs. The woman is wearing a bright, green dress. The man is wearing a black suit with a red tie. They are each holding a martini. Another couple is getting cozy beneath a dangling, yellow, Sputnik chandelier. The distinguished, white haired gentleman is wearing a blue suit, light blue shirt and red tie. He is also holding a martini in each hand, showing the world that his partying days are far from over. His companion is a shapely blonde in a stunning red dress. Behind this scene, we can see through floor to ceiling glass walls. The outdoor scene features a round, turquoise swimming pool. We can see the purple silhouette of a woman dipping her legs into the water. Between purple, stone walls, there are silhouettes of palm trees. The picture is very colorful but I did not notice when ordering that a border on the top and bottom would be added for the size we ordered so it came with a white top and bottom to it. I would have preferred no top and bottom border. Very bright and colorful.
