Repro Walter Crane Bo Peep Nursery Rhyme Tile
During the 1800s Walter Crane (1845-1915) was considered one of Britain's greatest socialist artists. He was in demand as an illustrator, especially for children's books. His work, like that of his friend, William Morris, was influenced by medieval art and illuminated manuscripts. Crane's work is noted for its distinct style, vivid colors, and amazing details.
This is a copy of Crane's Little Bo Peep tile from the Children's Opera series. We have a few more tiles from this series. You can see them in the "Not Just for Kids" category in our store.
