Repro Victorian Aqua Blue Floral Transferware Tile
This late Victorian tile reproduction features a soft blue floral design. Transferware was so named because the design was "transferred" onto the tiles which made them faster to produce and more affordable, spurring their popularity. Color glazes were applied by hand to some of the designs, as was the case with the original of this tile.
