“Red, White, and Blue” by T.S. Tyre may seem to have a very clear and interesting story behind it. The truth is, it really doesn’t. After painting “Empty Chairs”, another T.S. Tyre work, and seeing how simple objects can tell a story, TS wanted to try writing a story. She wanted to paint an image that would resonate with people. That would mean something special to them. But it’s hard to tell a story for people you’ve never met. She borrowed her dad’s old Air Force uniform hat and thought about all the people who’ve worn one like it or seen a loved one’s face beneath it. So she tried to tell a story for them.
