Squirrels love to eat nuts and seeds. Red squirrels are quite shy and generally live in trees. The red squirrels of Scotland live in pine forests where they dine on scotch pine nuts. Red and grey squirrels make nests in the spring to raise their young. They are called squirrel drays.
