In the photo, the centre of the bloom is blasted by very bright sunlight peeking through an opening between the yellow green leaves of the bush. The yellow stamen is surrounded by the bright red petals of the flower, which look yellow where the sun is the brightest. The rest of the flower falls into the shadows in a deep red colour against the olive green leaves. There is white text around the bottom of the photo.
