Red Drum on Tybee Island to Doboy Sound Chart Desk Mat
The Tybee Island to Doboy Sound Nautical Chart with a Red Drum in the Atlantic Ocean is a digitally remastered and enhanced version of the red drum or the channel bass. Sherman F Denton originally illustrated the vintage chromolithograph. It was published, circa 1901, in the New York Forest, Fish and Game Commission, Annual Report. In my remastered version, I have removed the text, re-vitalized the colours, restored missing elements, and stripped away the background. The background has been replaced with NOAA nautical chart 11509 titled, “Tybee Island to Doboy Sound.” The chart has been modified to remove the solid magenta border surrounding the pilot boarding area. This fish goes by many names including redfish, red fish, red drum, channel bass, and spot tail bass. The chart used in this illustration is representative of the estuaries and beaches where excellent red fishing can be enjoyed.

Just got mine this week and absolutely love it! It is the perfect size. The artwork and monogram personalization really makes for a nice tabletop desk option. Highly recommend!
