It took me years, but I finally identified these beautiful red and white flowers as gladiolus cardinalis. This picture was taken at the San Francisco Botanical Gardens while we were on the city tour. Gladiolas provide a beautiful pop of colour to a summer garden if you can keep them from falling over! Check out our store for more summer garden floral photos.
