Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God. This is the design of America's Great Seal suggested by Benjamin Franklin in August 1776. Benjamin Franklin chose the dramatic scene described in Exodus, where people confronted a tyrant in order to gain their freedom. Pharoah is sitting in an open chariot, a crown on his head and a sword in his hand, passing through the divided waters of the Red Sea in pursuit of the Israelites. Glenn Beck has said it would have been better if this design had been chosen for America's Great Seal. Glenn Beck has shown THIS ***Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God*** image (the image favored by Thomas Jefferson for the Great Seal of America ) on his show in May 2010, and the morning of the Divine Destiny event at the Kennedy Centre, 27 August 2010, prior to the 28 August Restoring Honour Rally.
