Ralph Lambton and his Hounds (c. 1820) by James Ward is a vintage Victorian fine art realism animal portrait painting. The hunter Ralph Lambton is sitting on his horse with his hunting hound dogs all around getting ready for a fox hunt. About the artist: James Ward (1769-1859) was a British painter, particularly of animals. He was regarded as one of the great animal portrait painters of his time, James produced history paintings, portraits and landscapes.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
