Raggedy Andy Meet for the First Time Large Tote Bag

is a fictional character created by American writer Johnny Gruelle, 1880-1938, in a series of books he wrote and illustrated for young children is a rag doll with red yarn for hair and has a triangle nose. The character was created in 1915 as a doll, and was introduced to the public in the 1918 book Stories. A doll was also marketed along with the book to great success. A sequel, Raggedy Andy Stories (1920) introduced the character of her brother, Raggedy Andy, dressed in sailor suit and hat. This picture is titled Raggedy Andy Meet for the First Time, from the book Raggedy Andy Stories by Johnny Gruelle.

This is the tote to go for if you want something sturdy that will last a long time and keep it's shape. Was a gift for a friend who lost a pet and she almost cried. I was worried it might come out a little tacky, but I will probably order this again and would definitely recommend it. The print also went on so well to the canvas-y material. Looks and feels professional and expensive.
