An old race car rests near retired gasoline pumps at the Classical Gas Museum on the road to Taos, New Mexico. The race car wears the number 8, which also seems to say "It's a Doozie." The American slang word "doozy" or "doozie" means something excellent or powerful and is also another spelling of the luxury car manufacturer Duesenberg's nickname, "Duesy." Wishful thinking for this little race car? When you visit this delightful museum of rusted and busted as well as mint condition automotive artifacts, including plenty of gas pumps, be sure to donate to the Dixon Animal Protection Society.
