By Sunday afternoon, members of the Havasu community offered to buy her a replacement, and staff at Havasu’s Home Depot location offered to give her a new decoration for her business beneath the London Bridge. Now, McLearen has two new “Rudolph” decorations as community support continued this week. McLaren received a $100 donation and a Christmas card from one supporter on Monday, while McLearen was speaking with Today’s News-Herald about the incident. Burgers by the bridge did a community appreciation night with free hot chocolate, cookies, photos with Santa and live music.
