Puffy Clouds On Blue Sky Tile

Puffy Clouds On Blue Sky Tile

A bank of puffy white clouds breaks into small wispy pieces across the frame of the vertical photograph. The cloud cover is denser on the left and more sparse on the right, revealing a deep blue sky that is dark near the top of the photo and lighter near the bottom. Late afternoon sun highlights the right edges of the cumuli. It looks like torn apart cotton balls suspended in air. Digital, colour photograph. Copyright © 2010 Claire E. Skinner.
