Prospect Harbour Lighthouse Postcard
I took the photograph on which this virtual painting is based in May of 2012. This is Prospect Harbour Light, which was originally built in 1850, automated in 1934, and which is currently used for housing by the U.S. Coast Guard. It is situated in Prospect Harbour, in Gouldsboro, Maine. For those familiar with the area - I confess - the left horizon is fabricated to eliminate from the image two cars parked to the left of the house. Note that "Greetings from Maine" is customize-able, if you wish to remove. The image is also available on a 5x7 greeting card in this same "awhitelaw" Zazzle store.
