Prickly pears, or barbary figs, are a sweet fruit that grow on cacti in arid, or semi-arid environments. Believes to be originally from Mexico, this photograph was taken in the Cinque Terre, Italy. The flesh of the fruit is bright red and has a taste similar to a berry or melon. This ceramic tile is fully customizable.
