Priced Out of Paradise [Blk/Blue] T-Shirt

When you reluctantly leave your Native roots or culture behind in HI because of various life circumstances and now, you can no longer afford to live there anymore, so you move to the Continent or “Turtle Island.” We call that being “priced out of paradise.” Once we’re able to establish and sustain our families and/or children with any type of chronic illness and/or autoimmune disease(s) out here, it’s hard to imagine being able to afford a home in Hawaii nei. Especially when more and more greedy developers and wealthy non-Native Hawaiians keep buying property there further displacing fellow Native Hawaiians [Kanaka] and local families. One day, we hope our children will understand and appreciate any trip “back home” more than the typical tourist. Mahalo for reading, learning, and shopping our cultural awareness designs.
