This is a hand-drawn depiction of American President, Abraham Lincoln, and First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln as skeletons. They are wearing iconic clothing, including Abe’s top hat and Mary Todd’s dress. This dress was made by Mary Todd Lincoln’s dressmaker, Elizabeth Keckly, and is now on display at the Smithsonian Institution. Elizabeth Keckly was an African American, former slave, expert seamstress, and author. I absolutely love it. It is amazing, and warm, and soft, softer I would have ever expected, it does not look cheap at all, it is just the best blanket ever, I love wrapping my self in it.
