President Dwight D. Eisenhower's boyhood home sits under the shade of tall trees on the grounds of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood home in Abilene, Kansas. Eisenhower was the 34th president of the United States (1954-1961). Eisenhower lived in this small home with his five brothers from 1898 to 1911, when he entered the U.S. Military Academy at West Point at age 20. All of his brothers went on to distinguished careers. He was born in 1890 in Texas.
