These vulnerable Rwandan Mountain Gorillas are under severe threat of extinction. Skye created this endearing scene of a male Silverback protecting a baby Gorilla. She has added this moving image to her spectacular series of Endangered Species paintings, to help raise awareness of the plight of the very few remaining Mountain Gorillas of the Congo and Rwanda. Part proceeds of all sales go towards wildlifedirect.org to aid in their bid to fund the protection of these precious creatures! Thank you for caring.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
