The Portland Head lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouse commissioned by the US government. Officially commissioned by George Washington in 1787. makes a great ornament to proudly display year round. The front features a full colour image of the lighthouse and the rocky foundation it's built upon. The back has a little snippet of the lighthouses history and the GPS co-ordinates to it if you should want to visit it someday.

I was disappointed with the writing on the ornament. It’s just too small and can barely be seen. Also it was not as obvious on screen that the position of the hole for hanging was centered on person’s forehead. Writing that came with chosen frame is too small and can barely be seen.
