Portland Head Light is an historic lighthouse in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. It sits on a dramatic point of rock jutting from the Atlantic Ocean. An American flag on a flag pole flies in the wind.
George Washington directed that construction on the light house begin in 1787. It was completed on January 10, 1791. It's the oldest lighthouse in Maine and was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. The light station sits on a head of land at the entrance of the primary shipping channel into Portland Harbour, which is within Casco Bay in the Gulf of Maine.

This is a really nice puzzle however it is what I would call fragile while putting together. The pieces fit but are very loose, you need to be constantly pushing them together and when you remove a wrong piece a lot of other pieces come with it. However, the pieces themselves are a good thickness and sturdy. It also has more than one cut to the pieces which make it challenging. I really enjoyed this puzzle and it is definitely a hard one for me. The picture on the puzzle is very good quality. It shows the book cover very well and the detail is great. The size I chose I found was perfect in detail for me. It shows very well.
