Port Quin Cornwall England Poldark Location Jigsaw Puzzle
The tiny cove and harbour of Port Quin was used extensively in the filming of the original series of Poldark in the 1970s. It was transformed into Sawle Village and was also the location of the wrecking scene Doyden Castle above the cove was used as Dwight Enys’ house and one of the cottages shown here was used for filming Andrew Blamey’s house. A sad legend surrounds Port Quin in that it is believed that the hamlet was abandoned after a terrible storm when all the menfolk who were out in their boats fishing perished in one night. The women and children left for Port Isaac a little further along the coast and never returned. Port Quin Cornwall © 2015 www.zazzle.co.uk/poldarkcountry*

I had fun putting the pieces of the puzzles together. They weren’t to hard and the art was pretty. The colours and the images were pretty and vibrant.

Excellent process from ordering to getting finished product! Picture quality was lifelike and puzzle pieces were durable. Coated the finished puzzle with glue and the pieces were not blurry or deformed.
