Photo taken on 31 October 2014. We thought we would return to see the finished installation after going in the summer to help plant the poppies and were amazed to see the whole moat had been filled...something we never thought would happen on time. How wrong we were!! We were very moved when the Last Post was played live at 6pm and astounded to see the thousands of people who were also visiting. Something that will be etched in our memories for ever.
