Poodle, Medieval Bestiary Art Playing Cards

Poodle, Medieval Bestiary Art Poker Cards Those who drink at the garden fountain after dusk rarely keep the bow. The ward hears the step before the water is found, and one stolen ribbon may leave the guest in the splash forever. So reads the lore panel at the foot of this illuminated bestiary page, devoted to the Poodle, the Ward of the Garden Fountain. The back of every card is laid out like a scholar's field guide. A gold illuminated drop cap P opens the title POODLE, with the red subtitle The Ward of the Garden Fountain set beneath it. The left column records its classification (fountain ward), habitat (garden fountain and wet stone), and temperament (curl proud), a row of small skulls for its threat, then its strengths (clip watch, fountain leap, soft mouth, and loyal curl) and weaknesses (wet coat, cold splash, and stolen bow). A framed window on the right holds a detailed portrait of the Poodle with small ink field sketches. Cream parchment sits inside an illuminated border of blue and red acanthus scrolls, red roses, coiling green serpents, and gold corner medallions, a classic deck for game nights, dog lovers, and Poodle fans. • Poodle bestiary page with gold drop cap P and the subtitle The Ward of the Garden Fountain • Field guide entry with classification, habitat, temperament, strengths, and weaknesses • Cream parchment with a blue, red, and gold illuminated border of roses and serpents • Part of the Medieval Bestiary Poker Collection from Dog By Breed
