Original oil painting by Francophile artist, Susan Payne-Trutna of a newly engaged couple standing on the Pont des Arts bridge in Paris. This romantic bridge is a great place for proposals and champagne celebrations, sunset watching, and declaring your love and attachment by putting a padlock inscribed with names or initials on the grills of the railing. Notice the "love locks" attached to the railing .... I'm told the keys are tossed into the Seine. This original "Lovers in Paris" postcard would make a wonderful VALENTINE or ENGAGEMENT or SAVE THE DATE announcement postcard!
