This button features two fabulous Polyphemus Moths (Antheraea polyphemus). Huge tan coloured creatures, with a wingspan of 6 inches, the most notable feature of this amazing moth is the large, dark eyespots on its two hindwings. The eye spots are where it gets its name – from the Greek myth of the Cyclops Polyphemus. The black background provides an interesting contrast.
