The Mermaid's Tale. A view inside a cavern, deep under the sea, the mermaid seems to be speaking with the turtles and gazing at the scene beyond. A ship, an orb, and a mystery man in the sand -all of these characters were suggested by the textures already there when I started this painting. My challenge was to make them work in this strange tale. Ornament.
